Job Summary: The Outdoor Hub is seeking a qualified and experienced Tiler to join our team as a subcontractor.

As a Tiler, you will play a crucial role in the construction of swimming pools, spas, and other aquatic features for our clients. Your expertise in tiling and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring that our pool projects meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.

Responsibilities:

1. Tile Installation: Apply your expertise in tiling to install and lay tiles in and around swimming pools, spas, water features, and other outdoor areas, ensuring precise and visually appealing finishes.

2. Surface Preparation: Prepare pool surfaces and other relevant areas for tiling, including cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives or bonding agents as necessary.

3. Pool and outdoor surfaces: Use appropriate tools to accurately cut and shape tiles to fit irregular spaces, edges, and corners, maintaining symmetry and seamless alignment.

4. Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of completed tiling work to verify adherence to specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

5. Material Management: Assist the Job Supervisor in ordering and managing tile materials, adhesives, grouts, and other supplies, ensuring an adequate stock level for ongoing projects.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with other our team to ensure smooth project coordination and timely completion of pool installations.

7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to create a secure work environment for yourself and fellow team members.

8. Problem-Solving: Identify and troubleshoot any tiling-related challenges that may arise during the construction process, proposing effective solutions.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Proven experience as a Qualified Tiler, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful pool and outdoor tiling projects.

2. Certification: Possession of relevant certifications or licenses in tiling or related fields is preferred.

3. Skillset: Proficient in pool and outdoor surface tiling, surface preparation, and installation techniques, with an eye for detail and precision.

4. Time Management: Ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
