Terms and Conditions

Hub Club Membership

The Hub Club enables us, The Outdoor (Retail) Hub Pty Ltd (The Outdoor Hub) to reward and collaborate with our valuable customers who shop at The Outdoor Hub stores.

Purchases accumulate points ($1 = 1 Point). Points are available on transactions made at The Outdoor Hub stores or online via the The Outdoor Hub website only. When you, as a member, accumulate 200 points, you will receive an eCoupon on your profile account to the value of $10 to be used in store, online or over the phone. eCoupons expire after 6 months from the date upon which the eCoupon was issued. eCoupons are redeemable for products at company owned The Outdoor Hub stores or online

 

Membership

Membership is free and can be obtained in store or online via The Outdoor Hub website.

By consenting to join the club through completion of a water test, verbally in store or online, or claiming a benefit or reward under a club membership, you will be considered accepting of these Terms and Conditions (as amended from time to time) and agree to be bound by them. These Terms and Conditions include consent for The Outdoor Hub to contact you via all channels (email, social, phone, mail, in person) in order to supply information and marketing.

Your membership application requires a first name, last name, email address, phone number & postal code as minimum contact information. You may "opt-out" of direct marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every marketing communication sent or by contacting The Outdoor Hub using the contact details at the bottom of these Terms and Conditions.

The Outdoor Hub is committed to protecting your privacy and is bound by the Information Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act of the countries in which it operates.

It is your responsibility to maintain an up to date email address via your profile account on the The Outdoor Hub website; or with help from staff in store. The Outdoor Hub will not be held responsible for any correspondence sent to an incorrect email address.

Membership cannot be held jointly.

Hub Club membership cannot be used in conjunction with any other The Outdoor Hub membership. Only one type of membership can be used with any one transaction. Membership is not available to employees of The Outdoor Hub and affiliated companies.

Points

You can obtain points from purchases at The Outdoor Hub, and from purchases made online via the relevant The Outdoor Hub website for that country. Points are not available for purchases made via external Marketplaces.

Your points accumulate at the rate of 1 point for every $1 spent in each transaction.

Your points cannot be accumulated on purchases made with an eCoupon, The Outdoor Hub gift card or from The Outdoor Hub resellers. Your membership cannot be used for purchases using a The Outdoor Hub credit account or Trade Card i.e. your points will not accumulate for these purchases.

Under no circumstances can points be transferred from one individual or membership account to another, or between profile accounts in different countries. Your points are not redeemable for cash. Prior purchases cannot be applied to your profile account. Your points expire 365 days after the date upon which they were awarded to you. Points cannot be claimed retrospectively. In the event of a refund, any points earned for the original purchase will be deducted from your club profile account.

eCoupons

Once you accumulate 200 points on your profile account you will receive a store credit of $10 as an eCoupon, issued in the currency of the country in which the account was registered. Your eCoupon sits on your profile account for use on a future purchase. Your profile account will automatically be deducted by 200 points when your $10 eCoupon is applied. Your eCoupon can be used to purchase goods at any The Outdoor Hub store or online Your eCoupon cannot be redeemed for cash. If you refund an item purchased in partial or full payment with an eCoupon, your eCoupon cannot be refunded or added back on to your account.

Your eCoupons expire after a period of 6 months from the date issued. You must use the eCoupon in full within a single (one) transaction. Any remaining credit will be forfeited. If the purchase is greater than the value of your eCoupon, the entire balance of the eCoupon will be subtracted and you will be asked to provide another form of payment (cash, EFTPOS, credit card etc.) to make up the difference. Your eCoupon is only redeemable by you, the member linked to the account. Your eCoupon is not transferrable nor redeemable for cash (or other value, such as gift cards).

Special Offers

You may receive offers, special discounts, and invitations to attend events or enter competitions. These special offers may have further Terms and Conditions to be aware of.

Communications

These Terms and Conditions include your consent for The Outdoor Hub to contact you via all channels (email, social, phone, mail, in person) in order to supply information and marketing about offers and benefits available to members. Your consent is agreed to each marketing communication except when you have indicated your decision to unsubscribe / “opt-out” of receiving marketing communications via one of the methods listed below under Opt-out.

Opt-Out

To unsubscribe or "opt-out" of marketing communications means you will no longer receive promotional offers, invitations or benefits via all channels. You will still receive non-promotional information such as notifications of changes to the club.

You may "opt-out" of direct marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every marketing communication sent or by contacting The Outdoor Hub using the contact details at the bottom of these Terms and Conditions.

You may "opt-in" or re-subscribe at any point by contacting The Outdoor Hub using the contact details at the bottom of these Terms and Conditions.

Correspondence

It is your responsibility to maintain an up-to-date email address to receive notifications about eCoupons and special offers. Updates can be made via your profile account page on The Outdoor Hub website or by contacting The Outdoor Hub using the contact details at the bottom of these Terms and Conditions. The Outdoor Hub will not be held responsible for any correspondence sent to an incorrect email address. Questions regarding your membership may be referred to your local store staff or online via the Contact Us page.

Privacy

As part of these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge and consent to The Outdoor Hub collecting and storing your personal information for the purposes of promoting products to you, improving offers and benefits for you, setting preferences for promotions that interest you, and to assist you in handling your profile account enquiries or complaints. The Outdoor Hub will only collect personal information that is necessary for business purposes outlined above and will not disclose any information to an unrelated third party. The Outdoor Hub is committed to protecting your privacy and is bound by the Information Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act of the countries in which it operates.

Cancellation of Membership

You may cancel your club membership at any time by notice to The Outdoor Hub via the contact details listed at the bottom of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of cancellation, all accrued points, eCoupons, and other benefits will be automatically cancelled and forfeited.

If you, as a member, fail to adhere to these Terms and Conditions it may result in termination of your membership and automatic cancellation and forfeiture of accrued points, eCoupons, and other benefits.

Alterations

The Outdoor Hub reserves the right, with notice of 30 days, to make changes to the operation of the club, to cancel any eCoupon, membership or accumulated points. Benefits and rewards to members may be withdrawn, amended or substituted.

The Outdoor Hub may terminate the club at any time. In the event of termination, The Outdoor Hub will notify members and all accrued points, eCoupons, and other benefits must be redeemed within 8 weeks of the date of termination. All accrued points, eCoupons and other benefits not redeemed will be forfeited.

The Outdoor Hub will not be liable for any disruption to the club or any delay in providing, or inability to provide, any of the benefits of membership which is caused by events or disasters beyond the control of The Outdoor Hub.

Any claimed discrepancy in relation to accrued points must be notified in writing by you, the member to The Outdoor Hub together with a legible copy of any relevant proof of purchase (e.g. a tax invoice). In the case of dispute, the decision of The Outdoor Hub will be final and binding.

The Outdoor Hub will not be liable for any loss suffered by you, the member arising in connection with membership to the club. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is to be read as excluding, restricting, or modifying the application of any legislation which by law cannot be excluded, restricted or modified or limiting the rights of any person under the Australian Consumer Law.

Any dispute regarding eligibility to participate in the club; accrual or redemption of points; eligibility for any benefit; or any other dispute which arises in connection with you, the member's, participation in the club will be determined by The Outdoor Hub in its sole and absolute discretion.

These Terms and Conditions may be changed, amended or varied at any time by The Outdoor Hub without giving a reason by providing notice to members. Without limiting any other means of giving notice, The Outdoor Hub may give notice of an amendment to these Terms and Conditions by publishing a notice on the The Outdoor Hub website.
